Farewell to Murray & Kathy Shishkowski

Farewell to

Murray & Kathy Shishkowski

Murray & Kathy Shishkowski, June 25th, 2014, Candiac, SK

Long-standing members and co-founders of Church on the Hill,
Murray & Kathy have sold their farm south of Candiac
and have moved to Wetaskiwin, Alberta
to be closer to their children and grandchildren.

For 30 years, Murray & Kathy have blessed COTH
in innumerable ways, including serving as board members,
and in Kathy's case, church Treasurer.

Murray spent countless hours and his own resources
keeping the grass cut and the parking lot cleared of snow,
along with helping with the general maintenance upkeep.

Kathy helped wherever she was needed and is the creator
of all the beautiful banners hanging in the church,
as well as those brought out for special seasons of the year.

One of the banners created by Kathy is displayed below...

Here are some photos from the June 25th Farewell Come-and-Go
hosted by Church on the Hill where many friends and family
dropped in to say farewell and let Murray & Kathy
know how much their presence meant to the community.

had only been shared between herself and Kathy.
